“What does it mean to you to be part of a movement of peace”

What it means to me, is to redetermine every day to have an honest dialogue with another

person.

It can be a struggle to stick to this determination (particularly in this day and age of

technology & social conformity), but if we can all find it in our hearts to try, I believe the

world will be one step closer to peace.

The Shared Undying Hope of Mentor and Disciple

In Ancient Greek folklore, a phoenix signifies renewal and has always been associated with the sun. It is a bird that cyclically regenerates or in other words is born again, obtaining a new

life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor.

This paper and pencil drawn picture portrays the vibrant sun, the adult phoenix and the rebirth of the baby Phoenix in its nest, signifying the following:

• The Spirit of Mentor and Disciple

• Earnest Resolve

• Passing on The Baton of Peace to The Youths
